Written 19/05/07

Bognor's Picturedrome Cinema is under new managementand has halved its prices to £2.50 for all seats Monday - Friday and £3.50 all seats at weekends.

This includes all films such as big new releases like the forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean. A night out for all the family will now be within the reach of most people's pockets.

The Cinema was recently taken over by an independent operator, Picturedrome Electric Theatre Co Ltd, is affiliated to the Hotham Arts Centre formerly the Regis Centre, The new operators plan to retain and enhance the art deco cinema to preserve its character and offer a different experience to that of the rather characterless multiplexes.

They are planning major investment in it, and hope that with your support it will become a thriving and well used facility in Bognor Regis Town.

Company Director Adam Cunard "Bognor has a fantastic facility in the town, and one which deserves people support, we have one of the biggest screens in Sussex and more leg room in screen one than local mutiplexes. In the future we are also looking to expand the programme to do Mother and Baby screenings, old films, and subtitled films"

The cinema is right next to the station and within walking distance of the Hothampton Car Park, as well as having on street parking.
