Bognor's Morrisons supermarket is allegedly heading towards an expansion that could see its floor space more than double to nearly 50,000 square feet.
110 new jobs would be created, if the idea is taken futher. The scheme would be one of the important areas for consideration as part of Bognor's regeneration.
The area is seen as a priority for development, since a large part of the existing usage is car parking, which fails to make best use of town centre land which is in short supply.
Morrisons have yet to put forward any planning applications and were down playing the plans
