Yapton and District Cottage Gardeners Society has its roots at the end of the 19th Century, the first show being held in 1890.
The aims of the Society are to encourage our members to further their interest and enjoyment in any matters horticultural.
Today the Society holds Four Flower Shows each year, also the plant sales and the Barn Dances. We hold member's meetings, with guest speakers giving lectures on specific topics. Society membership is open to all, we serve the locality around Yapton, Bognor, Arundel and Littlehampton in West Sussex, close to the South Downs
