A meeting of the Group was held at The Glade Infants School on Wednesday 31st March 2004, starting at 7.00 pm.

MINUTES
Ron Black, Vice Chair, took the Chair for this meeting.
1 - Minutes of Last Meeting - The minutes were agreed as a true and accurate record of the meeting of 11th February 2004.
2 - Apologies and Matters Arising - Apologies were read from the members listed above and there were no items to be dealt with under Matters Arising.
3 - Report from the Steering Group - KR reported on the successes of the Residents' Days - 25% of Home Zone residents attended. It has now been decided that the Home Zone will be called "Pevensey Home Zone". In the style voting the Ely style of street lamp was chosen. The concerns about vandalism had been raised at the Steering Group - the SG were advised that the risk of vandalism would be reduced by the choice of materials and features, and street lights will be set to be on 24 hours a day.
4 - Fun Bus - RB asked for Health and Safety information such as risk assessments relating to the use of the Gravits Lane car park as a Fun Bus location to be furnished by the Fun Bus company, and for the checking of access by the emergency services should a fire or other incident occur while the bus is there. It was agreed that subject to the receipt of satisfactory Health & Safety information a pilot period of 3 months is approved, this then being subject to review by the residents.
5 - Any Other Business - Constitution - A note from KR detailing areas of minor concern raised by the WSCC legal team to be referred to the next meeting, and circulated to the group for consideration at the meeting.
6 - Date of Next Meeting - The next meeting will be held at The Glade Infants School at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 5th May 2004.
